What is the difference between basic and advanced interactivity?

  • Basic interactivity: allows navigation inside a web content through a touch display.
    By inserting a web page in the schedule and using a player compatible with touch, it is possible to interact with the content just like on a smartphone or tablet.

  • Advanced interactivity: allows programming control through HTTP commands and timers.
    For example:

    • show content when a physical button is pressed;
    • start playback in response to an external command (HTTP request).

This flexibility enables integration of Digital Signage with external systems and the creation of customized interactive experiences.
