Quick Start Guide for Pharmadigital

With Pharmadigital bringing your content to the screen is simple and immediate.

Follow these steps:


1. Install and Activate the Player

Follow the installation guide specific to your device (Android, Philips, BrightSign, Sony, etc.) and activate a new Player.


2. Define a Layout

The layout determines the division of the screen into areas (e.g., main, sidebar, footer, background).
Each layout can be associated with one or more players.
You can choose a ready-to-use layout from the library, or create a new one.


3. Upload Resources

Upload images, videos, web pages, texts, and social feeds into your library.

To upload new content:

  • Go to the Resources menu and select Media
  • Click the Upload button
  • Select the files and press Start upload

4. Create a Channel and Select Resources to Display

A channel is a container of content (images, videos, web pages, texts, social messages, etc.) that you can assign to one or more zones of the screen (e.g., main, sidebar, footer, background), as defined in the layout.

You can think of the channel as a playlist that corresponds to a “TV schedule,” with programming you can assign to one or more zones of your player.

To create a new channel:

  • Go to the Channels menu and select Create
  • Enter a name and choose a color
  • Add resources to the channel by pressing the Select button in the Resources section

5. Assign the Channel to the Player

During channel creation, you can choose to assign it to a specific player.

  • In the Player section, press Select, then choose the player and the layout zone to associate with the channel.

A player can receive multiple channels, and each channel can be assigned to multiple players.


6. Create a Schedule (optional)

Once content is uploaded, channels created, and players assigned, you can manage publishing.

  • Go to the Scheduling menu to create a plan with publishing times and days for each channel.
  • You can set time slots, days of the week, and periods to show different content at different times.

7. Associate the Schedule with a Channel (optional)

To assign a schedule to a channel:

  • Go to Channels → Manage
  • Find the channel and click the clock icon
  • Select the desired schedule

To view the content schedule for a specific player, go to Scheduling → Calendar.

Advanced Functions

  • Icon or detailed view: change how channels are displayed.
  • Tags and quick search: use tags to group and quickly find areas or content.
  • Area management: group areas with tags for faster searches.
  • Multiple assignment: assign multiple players to one channel or multiple channels to one player simultaneously.

Notes and Tips

  • The list of available areas depends on the layout configured for each player.
  • When assigning a resource or social feed, you can quickly filter using tags or the search bar.
  • Edit and update channels at any time: changes will be propagated to players according to the active schedule.
