Import Google Slides Presentations from Google Drive
Pharmadigital simplifies managing your presentations: you can directly import Google Slides files from your Google Drive and display them on your screens without manual steps.
1. Manage Presentations
To get started, go to the Presentations section of your dashboard.
- Click Import from Google Drive™ to link your Google account and access available presentations in your Drive.
The management screen shows all imported presentations, including:
- Name and preview of the presentation
- Direct link to the Google Slides file
- Date added
- Total display duration
- Associated tags and channels
2. Configure the Presentation
After importing, you can configure various display parameters, such as:
- Display duration of each image/slide
- Presentation name
- Assignment to one or more channels
You can also preview the presentation directly from the dashboard, along with useful playback notes:
- Videos must be set to autoplay and muted for proper viewing.
- If a slide contains a video, the transition to the next slide occurs only after the video ends.
- Transition effects are supported.
- Hidden/non-visible slides are not displayed.
3. Publish the Presentation on Your Screens
After completing the configuration:
- Save the presentation.
- Assign it to the desired channels and players from the Pharmadigital panel.
- The presentation will automatically display according to the chosen settings.
Changes to Google Slides presentations are synchronized automatically, so you won’t need to manually update links or resources.
4. Tips and Additional Notes
- The total display duration is the sum of each video duration plus each slide’s duration.
- Use custom tags to easily distinguish presentations.
- You can use the search to quickly find a presentation among those already imported.
