Canva Resource

The Canva resource allows you to easily integrate your Canva projects directly into Pharmadigital.
You can upload a project as a static image or link it via Smart URL, so that any changes are automatically updated on the player.

How to Add a Canva Resource

  1. Go to the Resources section of the dashboard.
  2. From the menu, select Canva.
  3. Click the Add button.
  4. Paste the Canva project URL in the designated field.

How to Import a Canva Project

You have two options to import your projects:

1. Export as Image

  • Open the project on Canva.
  • Click ShareDownload.
  • Select the desired image format (e.g., PNG or JPG).
  • Upload the resulting image as a resource in the dashboard.

This method ensures the content is updated automatically when you modify the project on Canva.

To obtain the Smart URL:

  1. Create and save your project on Canva.
  2. Click the Share button in the top right corner.
  3. Select Embed.
    • If not visible, go to MoreEmbed.
  4. Copy the Smart Embed Link.
  5. Paste this link into the Canva URL field in the dashboard.

Usage Tips

  • The Smart URL ensures real-time updates without manually re-uploading files.
  • Make sure the Canva project sharing settings are correct so the player can access the content.
  • Very complex projects or with animations may take longer to load.

How to Import Canva Presentations

Canva presentations do not advance automatically inside Pharmadigital. For this reason, if you want to display a specific slide, you need to use a URL that points directly to the desired page.

How it works

Start from the public link of the presentation, for example:
https://www.canva.com/design/XXXXXXXXXXX/view

To open a specific slide, add the ?# parameter followed by the page number:
https://www.canva.com/design/XXXXXXXXXXX/view?#2

In this example, slide 2 will open directly.

Important note

When the resource is saved, Pharmadigital automatically adds the embed=true parameter to the URL to optimize its display.

For example, if you enter: https://www.canva.com/design/XXXXXXXXXXX/view#2

Pharmadigital will save it as: https://www.canva.com/design/XXXXXXXXXXX/view?embed=true#2

Example

First slide: https://www.canva.com/design/XXXXXXXXXXX/view#1

Second slide: https://www.canva.com/design/XXXXXXXXXXX/view#2

Third slide: https://www.canva.com/design/XXXXXXXXXXX/view#3

After saving, if you edit the resource again in Pharmadigital, you may see the embed=true parameter already present in the URL. This is normal: it is added automatically by Pharmadigital and should not be entered manually when copying the link from Canva.
