GPIO Event

The GPIO event allows a programmed action to be executed when a specific button is pressed or when an input is received through a GPIO (General Purpose Input/Output) port.

Each event is defined by:

  • GPIO port or button number:
Corresponds to one of the 8 bidirectional pins on the device’s GPIO connector.

  • Button trigger type:
You can specify whether the event should be triggered when the button is pressed (Down) or released (Up).

Note: Make sure the pin numbering corresponds to the one indicated in the hardware specifications of the BrightSign device.
