Timer Event

The Timer event allows you to perform a scheduled action on a device at a specific date/time or at regular intervals, according to a recurring schedule.

Types of Timer Events

Available scheduling options:

  • Once a day:
Schedule an event that repeats every day at a specific time.
Example: start playing a channel every morning at 8:00.

  • Once an hour:
Schedule an event that repeats every hour at a set minute.
Example: trigger content every hour at the 10th minute.

  • Periodic interval:
Schedule an event that repeats at regular intervals within a time window.
You can define start time, end time, and frequency (in minutes).
The event runs for the first time at the start of the active period.
Example: every 15 minutes between 9:00 and 18:00.

  • Fixed date and time:
Schedule an event that runs only once, at a specific date and time.
Example: trigger a special action on December 25th at 12:00.

Note: For all types of events (except “Fixed date and time”) you can select on which days of the week the timer should be active.
