Limitations and Requirements
- Permanent connection: YouTube videos are not downloaded; a continuous internet connection is required. Offline mode is not available.
- Controls and overlays: At startup, YouTube displays some information (e.g., title, controls) for a few seconds; these cannot be removed.
- Firewall/proxy: Ensure that the player can access YouTube domains.
- Subtitles: If enabled, they are always displayed and cannot be hidden.
- Video quality: Depends on the connection. HD requires at least 5–6 Mbps. Slower connections may cause low quality or interruptions.
- Android compatibility: Some Android devices may not support the native YouTube player.
Note: Playback of YouTube videos is provided exclusively through the official YouTube player. Therefore, the availability and playback of videos do not depend on the application but on the rules and policies established by YouTube. In case of restrictions imposed by the platform (such as territorial limitations, copyright issues, or settings defined by the video uploader), the video may not be played.
