Import and Moderation of Social Messages

Pharmadigital lets you import posts from Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Supported Social Networks​

  • Facebook: Import posts from public pages (requires admin account)
  • Instagram: Search posts via hashtags (requires business account) or import from business profiles (requires admin access)
  • LinkedIn: Import posts from company pages or public profiles (requires admin access)

How to Import a Social Feed​

  1. Go to the Social Networks section in your dashboard.
  2. Click Add to create a new feed.
  3. Select the Social Network (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) you want to connect.
  4. Authentication:
    • Facebook/Instagram: Log in with a Facebook account that has admin rights. Select the Facebook pages and Instagram business profiles you want to manage.
    • LinkedIn: Log in with your LinkedIn account and authorize the SocialMediaConnector (the app that allows Pharmadigital to fetch social content) to access the company pages or profiles you manage.
  5. After login, configure:
    • Facebook: Select which pages to import posts from.
    • Instagram: Choose a business profile or set the hashtags to monitor.
    • LinkedIn: Choose which company pages or user profiles to import posts from.
  6. Assign the created feed to one or more channels to activate post downloading.

Each feed requires login to the selected Social Network. Connections are securely managed by the SocialMediaConnector and are read-only (no posts are published, modified, or deleted).

Feed Status and Management​

  • Each feed shows its status in a summary table:
    • Running: Posts are being downloaded successfully.
    • Error: An error occurred during import. Click to view details.
  • Pharmadigital checks for new posts every 15 minutes (fixed interval to avoid exceeding platform limits).

Social Message Moderation​

  1. Go to the Moderation section.
  2. Here you can Approve or Reject downloaded posts before they are published.
  3. Use the Auto-approval icon to automatically approve all posts that do not contain banned words.
  4. Manage your dictionary of banned words:
    • Import dictionaries for different languages.
    • Add or remove specific words manually.
    • Path: Moderation → Banned Words

Display Settings​

Customize how social messages are shown to the public:

  • Go to Player settings and open the “Social Messages” tab.
  • Choose the display mode:
    • Social Wall
    • Social Slide
    • Social Mosaic
  • Set duration, colors, and style.

FAQ & Troubleshooting​

  • Why is a page/profile not visible?
    Use the “change settings” button to refresh the list of pages or profiles managed after login.
  • How often are posts updated?
    Every 15 minutes.
  • Are my credentials safe?
    Yes, credentials and connector settings are securely stored by the Social Network.
