BrightSign Player Settings

This section extends the common player settings and describes all specific options available for BrightSign devices in Pharmadigital.

Device

Zone Synchronization

You can synchronize channel content across different zones.
Normally, each zone plays its own content independently, even if multiple zones are assigned to the same channel.
When enabling this setting:

The player identifies, for each channel, the “master” zone (the one with the longest content to play).
As long as the master zone is playing, the other zones loop their content.
Only when the master zone finishes, all zones simultaneously move to the next channel.

Customize the display of Social Messages, a special content automatically shown after a set number of standard items.

Timeline duration:
How long each Social Message page is shown before moving to the next item.
Display period:
Defines after how many standard items a Social Message is displayed.
Sequence of:
How many Social Messages are shown consecutively before returning to normal content.
Background image:
Choose the background image for Social Messages. The image is adapted to the zone without keeping proportions. If no image is selected, a default blue gradient is used.
Text color:
Set the text color displayed in Social Messages.

Ticker

Configure the behavior of the scrolling text (Ticker).

Text color:
Set the ticker text color.
Background color:
Choose background color and transparency level.
Speed:
Set ticker scrolling speed (options: slow, normal, fast).

Clock

Customize the look of the clock/date widget.

Text color:
Set the text color.
Background color:
Set the background color and transparency level of the clock/date widget.

Maintenance

Network diagnostics:
Enable network diagnostic mode.
Legacy mode
Enable compatibility mode with limited features.
