Remote Player Screenshot

The Pharmadigital platform allows you to view in real time a snapshot of what is being played on each player, directly from the dashboard, wherever you are. This feature is useful for monitoring, diagnostics, and remote technical support.


How the remote preview works

  • The preview shows an updated snapshot of the screen connected to the player.
  • You can access the preview of each player from the PlayersManage section of the Pharmadigital dashboard.
  • The visualization takes place via browser, without the need for additional software.

How to view the preview

  1. Log in to the dashboard.
  2. Go to PlayersManage.
  3. In the list of registered devices, select the player of interest.
  4. Click on the preview icon or the Preview option.
  5. An updated thumbnail of the screen connected to the player will be displayed.
tip

Updating the preview may take a few seconds, depending on the network speed and the device settings.


Requirements and compatibility

  • The remote preview function is available on all devices running Pharmadigital player version 4.2.0 or higher.
  • Make sure the player is online and properly configured in the dashboard.
  • Some device models or corporate networks may limit the feature due to security or firewall restrictions.

Troubleshooting

  • No preview displayed
    • Verify that the player is connected and “online” on the dashboard.
    • Check that the player version is up to date.
    • Make sure the network does not block the traffic required for the preview feature (contact your IT department if in doubt).
  • Preview is slow or not updating
    • The quality and refresh rate of the preview depend on the network connection and device performance.
